16/12/20 + Mussolini Moment

Everybody finna be your friend once you get some money.

 

I'm done with the semester. This means I have free time to do whatever I want, and that includes contributing to this place again.

I've decided to watch every single James Bond movie in chronological order. So far I've watched Dr No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger and Tomorrow Never Dies. The last one is out of place, but it holds a special place in my heart since I watched it the most growing up.

In this time, Sean Connery unfortunately passed away and my favourite game studio, IO Interactive, announced they were working on a James Bond project. A frequent criticism/praise of the newer Hitman games were they felt too much like Bond movies.

 

Vindication City

Time for some smugness now. The cyberpunk game was dead on arrival. Terrible in every aspect and faced backlash from those excited for this. I wasn't surprised. This goes back to what I wrote over the summer and the hollowing out of video games. Not all is lost, we can look forward to the release of IO's Hitman 3 early next year. Three home runs back to back.
