I'll keep it ten toes with you Farmerholics, Big Vegas did me dirty. All but one of my betting picks imploded but I still live to fight another day. All I'll say is after tonight, Damon Jackson is a certified real one and Woodley isn't shot just yet (check the end of this post or my next post ?).
To cope with my gambling losses, I'll talk about my Martin Shkreli renaissance.
I've been following Martin for about 4-5 years now, ever since the daraprim price hike. This is where the farmer/Robert Dinero origin story begins. The short version is I went from watching his tech company DCF valuations to trading a forex account with the leverage an 18 year old probably shouldn't have.
Staying back on topic, Martin Shkreli was outspoken about securing the release of rapper Bobby Shmurda. Shmurda's parole hearing was delayed, but all these old names had me reminisce the good old days of trolling Martin Shkreli on discord with WSB goons. Prank calling investment bank VPs on a Friday afternooon (Goldman still has my Skype number blacklisted).
I started by going back to the livestreams and watching clips of those on YouTube. I had stopped tracking his biotech portfolio in 2018, after his conviction and I remember its value had gone up by 40% the last time I checked. I revisited his old websites. Thotpatrol.com is unfortunately not online anymore, but martinshkreli.com was. Here he still posts through communication with his "assisstants" from prison. Its part journal, part blog.
The most interesting part I felt that's worth sharing,
"I'll say more on healthcare specifically in the future, including comments on specifics drugs and companies. I am sanguine on the biotech industry, but it is still a deflationary force, despite political protestations otherwise. The biggest healthcare question of our time is will AI and other software/hardware solutions break or disrupt doctor/nurse wage inflation. That's it. Medicines are the most efficient cost-saving device in healthcare. But we have an image of physicians and other care givers that needs to change. No one wants to tell the inconvenient truth"
I've been feeling the call of going back into retail trading but I don't think I'll to back to that rat race. For now its keeping busy with the X personal coding projects I have left and keeping up with lectures. I like my pace of hundred line bursts every month in 3 hours.

I will write about Tyron 'The Frozen One' Woodley later. Maybe today if I feel like it.
