School restarts in a few weeks.

The game I've been playing this month has been Deus Ex. A 20 year old game described as, "Alex Jones in video game form."

The game itself has been fun. It met my expectations of a good game that I highlighted earlier. The game has mechanics and gives you the room to play around and experiment. You can tell gameplay was the first thing that came to mind while designing the game. Warren Spector, one of the developers, gives a good guide on game design...

No need repeating it.
The shooting mechanics were clunky but that never affected me since my playstyle and inventory was built around stealth, lockpicking and the multitool. I did eventually realise a non lethal playstyle didn't affect anything so I started sniping from long range 4 missions in.

Interestingly enough, one of the plot points in the game is a pandemic spreading around. A disease designed by corporate entities.

Tons of original songs were made for this game. A favourite of mine being the UNATCO theme.
